We’re thrilled to announce that Provident IT Solutions were nominated for and got through to the finals of two categories in the Melton Times Achievement Awards of 2018; Best New Business & Best Young Entrepreneur!

Yesterday we arrived at Brooksy Hall, all suited and booted, and after heading straight to the bar (of course) got to mingle with all types of dedicated and hard working people. We made some new friends from the Gates Garden Centre and Off the Beaten Path cafe:

After some drinks and a lovely three-course dinner, the awards ceremony started and Elizabeth McKenna (2017 contestant of The Apprentice) gave a motivational speech about what drives small business owners and why they’re so important. There were many familiar faces, such as the team from the Melton Regal Cinema and the crew from the Performing Stars Academy! The first award? Best New Business of 2018! The winner was the Apteekki vegan restaurant, congratulations to their hard-working team. We were lucky enough to be finalists for this award, and were also invited on-stage to claim our framed certificate.

But wait, there’s more! After a few awards ranging from best after dark venues (congratulations Regal Cinema!) and best Contribution to the community, the next award was for Best Young Entrepreneur of 2018…

Apologies about the quality of the photo, our table was quite far back from the action! Here’s myself and Tom holding what will keep us driven forward for years to come:

Apart from partying (maybe a little bit too) hard, we’re feeling over the moon with our achievements over the past year, and sincerely look forward to the times ahead of us by doing what we do best; making IT happen for our customers!

A huge thank you and congratulations to all those involved, here’s to the next year! 🎉
